Let's be honest who doesn't enjoy the comfort of a blanket? Here at Aidblanket.org we are dedicated to providing warmth and comfort to those in need. Our mission is to collect unwanted or unused blankets, whether homemade or purchased, and distribute them to humanitarian aid agencies or other homegrown charities like Crisis , Women’s Aid , Baby Care Units and even Animal Shelters!

Each blanket holds the potential to bring solace to someone facing hardship. It’s not just about providing a physical item; it’s about offering a sense of security and care during difficult times. We believe that everyone deserves warmth and support, and through this initiative we hope to bridge the gap for those who are struggling.

In addition to blanket donations, the project aims to mobilise community support by bringing back the 'knit a square' campaign from times gone by for possible re-sale to raise funds that will facilitate warehousing and transport logistics. By driving engagement and encouraging groups from all demographics to join our cause, we hope to create a sustainable network of assistance that can evolve. Our vision extends beyond just blankets; whilst recycling unwanted blankets we hope to include other bedding items and with your help, we can ensure that aid reaches those who need it most.
