New Blankets would have been purchased or accepted as a gift. Ideally they will still have the labels fitted or in the packaging. This ensures that they will arrive to us clean and hygienic for immediate re-distribution.
Recycled blankets should be clean and free from damage or stains. This means we do not have to pay to have them cleaned or repaired. They do not need to have labels fitted or in packaging.
Homemade blankets will have been knitted or crocheted by an individual or a crochet/knitting circle for immediate distribution or for possible re-sale via our TikTok on-line store. They may also be used for raffles/tombolas during our community engagement events to raise vital funds. These blankets are highly sought after and prove to be extremely useful in Baby Care Units.

If there are a large number of blankets or the package/ parcel is too heavy or costly to be sent via post/courier, then we may be able to collect using one of our voluntary drivers. Please note that, although we hope to expand our collection area with funding, we only operate in the following postcodes at present. WA1 - WA5 and WA12 &13.
